Areas of application
Aqua Thermo roof paint is suitable for
- Roofs with or without pitch
- Flat roofs (requires glass fleece embedding in the first coat)
- Substrates such as concrete, fibre cement, bitumen sheeting and roofing felt
- Ideal for roofs with photoactive solar modules on both sides
Application of Aqua Thermo roof paint
- Substrate preparation:
- The substrate must be dry, clean and free of rust, grease or dirt.
- Highly absorbent substrates such as fibre cement should be primed with Aqua Roof Primer 619.
- Metal substrates require a special primer (e.g. the universal primer Multigrund 715 from JAEGER).
- Coating structure:
- Primer if necessary, depending on the substrate.
- Apply two coats of Aqua Thermo roof paint.
- Processing conditions:
- Temperature range: Between 8°C and 30°C.
- Humidity: Between 30 % and 75 %.
