Decorative metallic smoothing rendering for the indoor area.
A wonderful addition to the rough rust or copper surfaces is the new Vesuvio smoothing rendering, refined with metallic pigments, which ensures silk matt surfaces with fascinating light effects. Five attractive colours offer many combination options. But the ready-to-apply smoothing technique is recommended also as a large-format wall covering in the upscale property segment. It is applied in two layers, the top coat can be structured with a paintbrush or trowel.

For designing brilliantly decorative surfaces, in the upscale living or property segment. Results in fascinating light effects with a satin-like surface.

Processing instructions for Vesuvio
Preparation
Before starting work, stir the product thoroughly to ensure a uniform consistency.
1. Substrate preparation
The surfaces must first be primed with Jaeger Iso-Mineralgrund adhesive primer. This primer improves adhesion and optimally prepares the surface for the subsequent work steps. A well-prepared surface is crucial for the final result.
2. Application
First coat of Vesuvio:
- The first coat is diluted with 20% water.
- Apply with a roller or brush.
- Allow to dry for 8 hours to create a base for the next coat.
Second coat of Vesuvio:
- This coat is applied undiluted.
- Apply with the Jaeger smoothing trowel.
- Immediately after application, the surface can be textured as desired, either with the smoothing trowel or a brush.
After a short drying time of 15 to 60 minutes, the surface can optionally be lightly pressed (without pressure) with the smoothing trowel. This step gives the surface a finer texture and a smooth finish.

Technical details
Dilution: 1st coat 20% with water, 2nd coat undiluted
Tool cleaning: Clean with water immediately after use.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in the original container with the lid tightly closed. Protect from frost.
