LÖWE Auto Rust Primer Spray 511

Corrosion protection primer for all cars, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, steel structures, cast iron, etc. Air-drying one-component primer, can be painted directly onto residual rust (without rust converter); high filling power and adhesion, i.e. maximum rust protection, heat-resistant up to 120 °C; can be painted over with all automotive paint systems (nitro-resistant).

Dry film thickness

One coat approx. 40-50 µm.

Surface preparation

Remove scale, loose rust and grease. Dry or clean surfaces. Use the smallest grain size for blasting. Roughness depth approx. 10 µm.

Recoatability

With many synthetic resin, acrylic and two-component paints, automotive paints and chlorinated rubber systems. Highly resistant to nitrocellulose lacquers, fillers and putties as well as acrylic lacquers.

Processing conditions

The material, substrate and air temperature must not fall below 10°C or exceed 30°C during the entire processing and drying time. The air humidity should be between 30% RH and 75% RH during the entire time.
