Corrosion protection primer for all passenger cars, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, steel structures, cast iron, etc. Air-drying single-component primer, can be applied directly to residual rust (without rust converter); high filling power and adhesion, i.e. maximum rust protection, heat resistant up to 120 °C; can be painted over with all automotive paint systems (nitro-resistant).
Dry film thickness
One coat approx. 40-50 µm.
Substrate
Remove scale, loose rust and grease. Dry and clean surfaces. Use the smallest grain size for blasting. Roughness approx. 10 µm.
Coating structure
2 – 3 coats of LÖWE Auto-Rost-Primer
1 coat of topcoat
Recoatability
With many synthetic resin, acrylic and two-component paints, automotive paints and chlorinated rubber systems. High pull-up resistance to nitro paints, fillers and putties as well as acrylic paints.
Application
During the entire processing and drying time, the material, substrate and air temperature must not fall below 10°C or exceed 30°C. The air humidity should be between 30% r.H. and 75% r.H. during the entire time.
