Vulcano is the new, striking highlight in the Villa Venezia creative range. This textured plaster skilfully showcases its rugged elegance, giving walls the archaic look of striking volcanic rock. Thanks to its exceptionally user-friendly formula, Vulcano is easy to apply – both indoors and outdoors. The result: a modern wall finish that lends every room and every façade an irresistible architectural depth.

Installation instructions – Vulcano


1. Prepare the surface

  • Clean the surface thoroughly and remove any loose particles
  • Prime highly absorbent substrates with a deep-penetrating primer
  • Prime interior and exterior surfaces with Jaeger Iso-Mineralgrund 309

 

2. Mission & Structure

  • Apply Jaeger Vulcano in 1–2 coats using the Jaeger 974 finishing trowel
  • Finish the surface as desired using a textured roller or finishing trowel

For that classic Vulcano look:

  • Apply the material thickly (recommended: 4 mm notched trowel or float)
  • After allowing the surface to set for 15–30 minutes, work with a textured roller
  • Wait a further 15–30 minutes, then lightly smooth and texture the surface with a clean Venetian trowel

 

3. Surface finish for textured plaster

  • After approx. 12 hours of drying time
  • Apply 1–2 coats of Vulcano Finish using a glazing brush or sponge
  • Customise the finish by tinting it with mineral paint concentrate
