The metallic effect wall paint is suitable for finishing all decorative surfaces in interior spaces. The surface structure can be individually designed with brush strokes, resulting in an all-round brilliant look. Sabbia (Italian for “sand”) is an extremely decorative top coat with a fine metallic sand grain structure. When combined with appropriate lighting, decorative surfaces in interior spaces are transformed into gently shimmering accents with interesting light and shadow effects. The environmentally friendly, water-based paint is easy to apply and is available in gold, silver, and copper colors.

Processing instructions for Sabbia 929
1. Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, and stable. Loose particles must be removed to ensure an even surface. Highly absorbent substrates should be reinforced with a deep primer to ensure optimum adhesion. First, apply one coat of Jaeger Iso-Mineralgrund 309 with a roller. This primer improves the adhesion of the subsequent coats.
2. Application
Apply Sabbia 929 once or twice. Apply with a brush, paintbrush, or roller in small sections. The paint should be applied in random strokes to achieve an even and harmonious texture. After application, the surface can be textured immediately to achieve the desired design and individual look.
Processing conditions
The following conditions should be observed throughout the entire processing and drying time:
- The temperature of the material, substrate, and air must not be below 8°C or above 30°C.
- The relative humidity should be between 30% and 80%.
High humidity and low temperatures can delay the drying of the coating film. It is therefore important to monitor and adjust the ambient conditions during processing.
