Wall stencils and Calce Argilla – the perfect combination

Calce Argilla lime-clay plaster is a combination of fine marble and natural sand with a high clay content and integrated cellulose fibers. This allows for thicker layers and gives the material a wonderful texture. The result is unique surfaces in a rustic, shabby chic style. But the sophisticated look is only one aspect. The excellent building physics and building biology properties are just as impressive: clay plasters ensure a particularly healthy indoor climate and have natural mold protection. They also have been proven to break down formaldehyde in the indoor air.

Five motifs that leave a lasting impression

Easy to use

Calce Argilla is ready to use and should be applied undiluted. For custom colors, the material can be tinted with mineral color concentrates in pastel shades.
 

The substrate is first prepared with Iso-Mineralgrund. Then the first full coat of Calce Argilla is applied with a smoothing trowel. This layer should be left to dry for at least 12 hours, depending on the room temperature and humidity.

The second coat of Calce Argilla can then be textured as desired. This is where our expressive wall stencils, inspired by a wide variety of styles, come into play: With the “India” stencil, you can revive the magnificent splendor of the Maharajas, with “Africa” and “Oriental” you can create an exciting exotic flair, “Arabic” conjures up dreamlike arabesques on the wall, and “Italia” exudes the incomparable charm of Venetian palaces.
 

The sturdy plastic stencils in 50 x 70 cm format are, of course, reusable. The “Italia” stencil with its attractive cassette pattern allows you to work even faster thanks to its size of 70 x 100 cm.

Finishing tip:
 

For an even more authentic shabby chic look, you can finish the surface with (colored) JAEGER antique soap if desired. You will love the result.
